Performance
The Massey Ferguson 4700 Series of utility tractors are built with big pulling power and lift capacity. This series of utility tractors feature a rugged, reliable, fuel-efficient Tier 4 Final engine that range between 70-100 horsepower. If you are looking for a straight-forward operation, get a 4700 series utility tractor with the 12 x 12 Power-Shuttle transmission. If you need a transmission better suited for more loading and hauling tasks, get the optional Dyna-2 transmission.
Productivity
Knowing there are times you need to work in confined spaces, Massey Ferguson designed the 4700 series of utility tractors with a tight turning radius for easier maneuverability and better stability. The 2WD axle on the Massey Ferguson 4700 series comes with five track-width settings in 4-inch steps so that these utility tractors can accommodate almost all crop or field conditions – from specialty farming applications to small-scale row crops and vegetables, even roadside mowing and land management applications. The optional hydraulic-controlled differential lock available on the 4WD front axle ensures that drive is evenly distributed for better traction.
Ease of Use
The Massey Ferguson 4700 series of utility tractors come standard with a mechanical spring seat. Cabbed models of these Massey Ferguson Utility Tractors have an optional deluxe, swiveling, air-ride seat. The 4700 series also features ergonomically positioned essential controls for easy operation and comfort. On deluxe models, the hitch raise or lower controls are incorporated into the rear fender to make hook-up and disconnection of 3-point implements quick and easy.
